Space-saving and can be wired quickly

The compact EMD-BL relays are ideal for simple monitoring tasks – especially in the fields of building installation and series production.

The EMD-BL monitoring relays from Phoenix Contact can be used to efficiently and reliably monitor current, voltage, and phase parameters. Thanks to the Push-in Technology, they can be connected to the modules quickly, directly, and without tools.

Your advantages

  • Particularly space-saving – thanks to a compact housing in the installation design

  • Can be wired quickly and without tools – thanks to Push-in Technology

  • User-friendly handling – parameters can be adjusted easily on the front of the housing using rotary switches

  • Clear diagnostics – with status LEDs

  • Ideal for series production – a reasonably-priced solution for numerous monitoring functions

  • Rapid installation of the voltage and phase-monitoring relays with a power supply from the measuring circuit

  • Compact monitoring relays are a part of the COMPLETE line system

PT terminal blocks

For the PT terminal blocks with Push-in connection technology, you can choose the ideal terminal block for every task, with a nominal diameter from 1.5 mm² to 185 mm².
Convenient connection: insert rigid conductors or conductors with ferrules from 0.25 mm² into the conductor shaft. The contact spring opens automatically and provides the required pressure force against the current bar. When installing smaller conductors from 0.14 mm², use a standard screwdriver to actuate the contact spring.
These terminal blocks utilize the advantages of the CLIPLINE complete system. These include being able to freely combine all connection technologies and the use of standardized system accessories.

The cost-effective monitoring solution

Compact monitoring relays – Quick and easy wiring without tools.

With the compact EMD-BL monitoring relays, you can monitor important system parameters in your application. Detect critical errors early, report them, or shut system components off selectively.

You can choose from four device types:
• Current monitoring, 1-phase: overcurrent, undercurrent, window
• Voltage monitoring, 1-phase: undervoltage, window
• Voltage monitoring, 3-phase: window, phase sequence
• Phase monitoring: phase sequence, phase failure, asymmetry
