STEP POWER

The STEP POWER power supplies have been specifically developed for building automation applications and are ideal for use in distribution boards and flat control panels. Thanks to their low no-load losses and high degree of efficiency, they achieve maximum power efficiency in their class. The STEP POWER power supplies offer flexible mounting options and can be mounted on a DIN rail or level surface.

Your advantages

  • Energy savings with the highest level of efficiency in no-load and part-load operation (Efficiency Level VI)

  • Space savings in the control cabinet due to the narrow design combined with increased performance (up to 100%)

  • Approval for household purposes (EN 60335) allows use in domestic applications

  • Quick and easy commissioning with tool-free Push-in connection technology at a 45° angle with double terminal points

  • Flexible mounting: Snap onto a DIN rail or screw onto a level surface

Approvals for household purposes

In addition to the standard industrial approvals, the STEP POWER power supplies are certified for household purposes in accordance with DIN EN 60335-1 for the first time. They satisfy the most stringent safety requirements for electrical devices and are the ideal solution for domestic applications.

Safe charging station supply

The STEP POWER power supply will prepare you ideally for e-mobility.

It supplies the charging controller for your charging station safely and reliably. This is because STEP POWER has been developed and tested functionally and, in particular, with respect to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) in accordance with the charging station standard EN 61851-21-2.

LED lighting

With the STEP POWER power supply, specially developed for LED applications, you can supply state-of-the-art lighting scenarios from the control cabinet.

Through regulation to a constant voltage, it enables the safe operation of LED lights in combination with current-regulated ballasts or, for example, LED strips with a resistance circuit.

The power supply features a particularly flat housing and is approved in accordance with the LED standards EN 61437-2-13 and EN 55015.

Functional safety

The QUINT POWER power supply satisfies functional safety requirements (SIL) and ensures maximum operational safety. Whether in parallel operation or when connected to different phases, the load is reliably supplied even in the event of problems with the input voltage.

Install the Plus version of the 20 A power supply, or even the combination of QUINT POWER, with the active QUINT S-ORING redundancy module in applications with functional safety up to a safety integrity level of SIL 3 (IEC 61508).

QUINT POWER with 110 V DC

The QUINT POWER power supply with 110 V DC at the output means that connecting several power supply units in series is a thing of the past. With this new power supply, you can supply applications up to a voltage range of 135 V DC with just one device. The ideal solution for process and energy technology.

Technologies and advantages of QUINT POWER

SFB Technology

In order to trip standard miniature circuit breakers magnetically and therefore quickly, power supplies must be able to supply several times the nominal current for a short period.

The QUINT POWER power supply trips standard miniature circuit breakers quickly and reliably using SFB (Selective Fuse Breaking) Technology with up to six times the nominal current for 15 ms. Faulty current paths are switched off selectively, the fault is located, and important system parts remain in operation.
